To ensure that patients are well informed about treatment costs, the billing process, out-of-pocket expenses and individual responsibilities for services not covered by insurance, Patient Benefits Representatives are available at all NYOH practice locations.

Our Patient Benefits Representatives are integral members of the patient care team, helping to address many of the economic concerns that often accompany an unexpected illness and assisting patients in making informed decisions about their care.

Patient Benefits Representatives also work closely with patients who are experiencing financial hardships – helping them develop payment plans, determining eligibility for Medicaid coverage and identifying other resources that may be available based on individual needs and circumstances.
