Dr. Shapiro practices at:

NYOH at Albany Medical Center
43 New Scotland Ave
Albany, NY 12208
Phone (518) 262-6696

Dr. Shapiro has a great interest in the treatment of multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin’s and Hodgkin’s lymphomas using high-dose chemotherapy rescued by the patient’s own blood stem cells. This is accomplished in the outpatient setting and has made it possible for patients to receive these treatments locally and avoid long hospital stays.
